everyday apparel screen printing
Screen Printing is normally the highest quality and longest lasting printing option. We offer custom screen printing services for all types of apparel. There is a process and lead time for creating screens, so timing is important if you have a tight deadline. We will advise you through the whole process and strive to exceed your expectations.
How does SCREEN PRINTING work?
We start with the design you would like to use, the specific size and location on the apparel to be printed. We separate your design by color (called Spot Color) and create a unique screen for each color in your design. The screen printing process uses a porous mesh stretched tightly over a frame. A stencil, produced on the screen, defines the image to be printed. Screen printing ink is applied to the substrate by placing the screen over the material. As the octopus arms of the machine move around, each one holding a shirt in place, ink is then forced through the fine mesh openings using a mechanical squeegee. The squeegee pushes the ink through the open areas of the screen and voila! The image appears. Special heaters dry and lock in the image.
WHAT IS SPOT COLOR PRINTING?
All screen printing projects are in spot color. This method uses screens to apply the exact color directly to the material. This method is good for simple logos with text and basic shapes that do not require gradients or excessive colors. For every different color in your design, another screen is made to print that specific color. We use Pantone colors for our screen printing. Pantone colors have specific formulas that will guarantee the same color is printed each time.
What can be SCREENPRINTED?
Screenprinting can be done on any reasonably smooth, flat surface. This not only means t-shirts of all sizes, styles, and colors, but also bags, hoodies, pants, and more. Since screenprinting ink is opaque, your designs will show up vibrantly even on top of dark colors. Check out some of the apparel brands we work with.APPAREL BRANDS
